Princess bedtime stories to listen to
Narrated princess stories you can play right now — with voice, sound effects and pictures, five to fifteen minutes long.
These are new stories, not the classics. If you came looking for Snow White or Rapunzel specifically, these are not those — the princesses here are from stories nobody has heard before.

Why princesses still work
Because the princess is almost never the point. What holds a four-year-old is someone small deciding something big, and the crown is just the wrapping that makes the decision worth making. The princess stories that age badly are the ones where she waits; the ones that last give her something to solve.
How long it should be
Five minutes is enough between three and six, ten to fifteen from seven upwards. For bedtime the ending matters more than the length: a story that stops at the exciting part wakes a child up rather than settling them.
